My husband said, "I think you should trying quilting." Once I tried it, I was all in!

But let me tell you where I started... I had never used a sewing machine before. (That may speak to our education system somehow.)

​

I phoned a friend and asked for an intro. She graciously gave instructions of how much fabric to buy. She walked me through how to make a basic rag quilt. The next day, I bought my own sewing machine. I found a Quilting 101 class nearby (and dragged my friend along even though she wasn't new to quilting). I immersed myself in YouTube University. I quickly began to finish projects and identify new techniques that I wanted to explore and try. You don't know what you like until you try it!!

I realized that I love every aspect of quilting, especially the quilting itself. I love to see a project finished so I even love the binding step!

My supportive husband is part of the team. He has been involved in every step and actively participates in the fabric preparation, fabric cutting and longarm quilting.

I started to offer quilt services to help others finish their projects by assisting with any step in the process. I want others to feel the passion and the pride in their work. And I'm grateful to be a part of your project.
